The Thule Santu is a tow bar cargo box that has been designed to mount onto the Thule EasyFold 3, Thule EasyFold XT or Thule Epos bike carriers. It will allow you to carry bikes, cargo or if using the Thule Epos both bikes and luggage cargo.
Mounted to the rear of the vehicle the hard shelled Santu provides 260 litres of additional luggage storage space behind that vehicles internal boot space. The Santu is a superb option for those who are unable to fit a roof rack and roof box or just want something that is at a more easily accessible height.
Thanks to the rear mounting of this cargo carrying option, unlike conventional roof bars and top boxes, it has minimal effect to fuel efficiency or EV's range along with far less road noise.
Thule have made the Santu easy to handle with a large grab handle and roller wheels to ensure it is as easy as possible to get to the vehicle or where ever the unloading spot is. This cargo box is simple to attach solo as it sits low to the ground.
A smart and safe SlideLock system automatically locks the lid in place and indicates when the solid like is correctly closed. This then allows the box lid to be locked ensuring the contents of the Thule Santu is secure.
Note: The Easyfold XT Adapter for Santu is needed for mounting the Santu onto the Easyfold XT bike carriers and is not included.
